Ozzy Furocity was founded on September 12, 2010, and rapidly expanded from humble start-up to multi-national behemoth in the world of Team Fortress 2 communities. All of this came to a conclusion on February 27, 2016, when it was decided to cease operations after five-and-a-half years of proud history. Hence, it may come as some surprise to those who knew of the community, that the community is seeing signs of life once more, and so I felt a quick Q&A session was in order, to which I'll start by getting the obvious out of the way: Is Ozzy Furocity making a come back? Yes, but not in the way you might expect. What's going to be different this time around? In the past we focused on hosting, moderating and developing Team Fortress 2 servers for community members to play on. We were successful, but it required a large quantity of resources to work properly. This time around, we're going to focus on playing games and hosting events as a community more so than the operations required to host our own servers. This means we'll be focusing on other games like Payday 2, Killing Floor 2, Dungeon Defenders 2, Overwatch, Battlefield 1 etc. - In fact, we'll run events, promote and provide community space for whatever games the community wants to play. Will you be running Team Fortress 2 / VSH servers again? We may host temporary event servers in response to community requests, but we have no plans for any such event servers to become permanent fixtures. Could I get a copy of / buy the VSH plugin? No. The Vs Saxton Hale plugin was made specifically for Ozzy Furocity and is not for sale. (Work in progress.)
